Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) turned in another dominant display on the final climb of Isola 2000 to win Stage 19 of the Tour de France, and extend his lead once again atop the general classification.
SBS On Demand Tour de France Hub iOS Android The Slovenian again showed why he is on a level above his rivals in this year's race, riding away from the group of favourites to close an almost three minute gap to leader Matteo Jorgenson in the final nine kilometres of stage 19.
"Our race was 100% perfect," Pogacar said following the stage, his 15th all-time win at the Tour de France. "My goal today was to win the stage, but as I approached the last two kilometres, I felt a little drained. I'm very happy. Reaching the score of fifteen Tour stage victories is quite formidable. "Now I have a good lead. Tomorrow I can let the escape go to the end.
