Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage after a woman was found injured in Melbourne's north-east, with no recollection of how she came to leave her home.

Police have launched a public appeal after a 33-year-old woman was found naked and seriously injured in the Melbourne suburb of Bulleen last Friday.Investigators are hoping to speak to a man in a white ute and a male bike rider who may have witnessed the incident, and have asked anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

The 33-year-old woman was found by members of the public with cuts and bruises on Friday afternoon in the suburb of Bulleen, in what police are labelling a "concerning" and "unusual" incident. Investigators said they hoped witnesses who were in the area at the time may be able to help them understand what had happened.

Detective Acting Sergeant Jen Ahern said while the woman had been interviewed, she was unable to provide details as to how she may have gotten her injuries."She hasn't been able to provide us with a level of detail for a period of time, so that's what investigators are trying to establish, exactly what's happened in that period that she's not able to give us some information about.
