Police said the man got out of a car and allegedly shot at police on Leon Drive before he entered a property while allegedly armed."Police continued to negotiate with the offender and the man and toddler were able to leave the address," Victoria Police said."The man fired at police once again, police returned fire and the police dog was deployed to assist with the arrest which took place just after 6pm.
Vision seen by the ABC showed dozens of police, including heavily-armed tactical response officers and the dog squad, surrounding the home both on the ground and on rooftops before police entered the home.Police could be seen escorting a man in handcuffs before the man was checked by paramedics and taken away in an ambulance.Photo shows University students walk through campus, some looking at their phones.
