A police charge sheet tendered in Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday alleged Mr Patten started preparing to commit a terrorist act from about 10am on June 26 and was apprehended at 1:35pm. Police arrested Mr Patten one block away after he had been turned away by staff from the Newcastle Museum.
