The RSPCA say an ongoing inquiry into Stapleford Boarding Kennels is taking place

The RSPCA is investigating a Nottinghamshire boarding kennels after police say concerns were raised about the welfare of animals. Officers were seen attending the Stapleford Boarding Kennels in Bessell Lane at around 2.40pm on Sunday .

The business offers three types of kennel, with its executive suites featuring items including a leather settee, TV and underfloor heating. Fully licenced by Broxtowe Borough Council, the company also has a half-acre field which dogs have access to at least twice a day. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman confirmed: "Officers attended boarding kennels in Bessell Lane, Stapleford, at around 2.40pm on Sunday , after concerns were raised about the welfare of animals inside the address. The owner of the premises was spoken to and the matter has been referred to the RSPCA."Stapleford Boarding Kennels has been contacted for comment, with both the landline and mobile numbers advertised for the business going to voicemail.
