— An employee at a gas station in Ontario County admitted to stealing items from the station's store and trying to cover her tracks by fraudulently refunding items, according to police.

Deputies said Sabrina Thompson, 23, was working her shift at Speedway on Route 332 when she rang up items for herself without depositing any money into the register. Police said Thompson tried to cover up the lack of cash in the register by refunding items that were never sold in the store.Thompson is charged with falsifying business records. She has been released from Ontario County Jail.
