The suspect who jumped out of a stolen CHP cruiser during a police chase has died, officials have confirmed. MORE:
SkyFOX was live Tuesday afternoon and captured the moment the suspect jumped out of the car traveling around 70 mph, headed eastbound on the 138 Freeway.
According to the CHP, the pursuit began sometime around 11:45 a.m. in the area of the 5 Freeway and Hasley Canyon Road.A man in a stolen police car jumped out of the vehicle shortly after one of its tires blew. The vehicle then crashed into a light pole.
