The police chief behind the response to the Robb Elementary school massacre has been sacked more than three months after the deadly shooting claimed 21 lives.

The local school board voted unanimously to fire Mr Arredondo, who had been placed on paid leave since June., lawyers for Mr Arredondo said that the school district did not conduct an investigation that led to grounds for dismissal.
