🔴 Police officers could be overstretched as far-right protesters and anti-racist campaigners mount rival demonstrations in Lincoln today over plans to house migrants at an ex-RAF base
A visible police presence will be on display as the force looks to prevent the “possibility of crime or disorder occurring”.
Local political candidates and councillors have condemned the rally being organised by the far-right. Hamish Falconer, Labour’s general election candidate for Lincoln, hit out at “chancers trying to whip up hatred in Lincoln and Scampton.”
