Emergency services descended on Ashton Old Road in Openshaw on Wednesday night (October 11)
Police cordoned off a main road in Openshaw on Wednesday night amid reports of a person being struck by a car.
Witnesses have told the Manchester Evening News that a person was struck by a vehicle, with others describing the dramatic scenes as they saw a person lying in the road.
