Investigators looking into an allegedly forged document sent from Angus Taylor's office found no evidence the original document was downloaded to his office, despite his claims to Parliament

, NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said police could not confirm when Mr Taylor or his office downloaded the documents from the City of Sydney website."No. The metadata did not provide any evidence of the document being downloaded to Minister Taylor's office," he said."The document was drawn from the City of Sydney website and it was publicly available," he told Parliament.

The real report contained on the council's website showed the cost of interstate travel by councillors while representing the council was $4206.32 and the cost of international travel by councillors was $1727.77. In another answer to a question on notice, Mr Fuller said his investigators did not speak to Mr Taylor directly.

"Mr Hetherington replied and answered questions posed on behalf of Minister Taylor. The minister was not interviewed."
