A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
Officers raced to the Straiton Road area of Loanhead, Midlothian, after receiving the alarm at 8.20am today. Cops allegedly recovered an imitation firearm at the scene.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20am on Sunday, 27 August, police received a report of a man in possession of a firearm in the Straiton Road area of Loanhead. Officers attended and a 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
