A man has been injured in a seemingly random attack at a shopping centre north of Adelaide . The man in his 60s was walking through the carpark of the Munno Para Shopping centre in Smithfield on Saturday when he was set upon by a teenage boy.

Man punched to the ground outside shopping centre. In mobile phone footage of the attack obtained by 7NEWS, the boy can be seen punching the man, who falls to the ground, before other teens are heard yelling at the man to “get up, dog”. The man attempts to chase his attacker, reaching for a nearby razor scooter to protect himself, before he is rammed by a shopping trolley. Witnesses said by the time police arrived, the teenagers had left.
