Police are hunting a man accused of seriously assaulting a council ranger in Sydney’s south-west earlier this week.
Two council rangers were walking along the Norfolk Serviceway in Liverpool when they were confronted by men inside a white Subaru WRX Impreza just before 12.30pm on Tuesday. It is alleged one of the passengers in the WRX approached one of the rangers and punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious and causing him to fall to the ground.Emergency Services were alerted and the 35-year-old ranger was taken to Liverpool hospital with serious facial injuries.Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command attended the scene and launched an investigation into the assault, releasing images of the man accusing of punching the ranger and the vehicle he was riding in.
