A small plane crash left two people dead in Cumberland County, authorities said. Authorities have identified two men killed when their small plane crashed into the yard of a home in Cumberland County on Monday afternoon.
Police confirmed Monday that the plane took off from Bucks Airport, a small facility with a turf runway located near the crash scene on the other side of Parvin Mill Road.No additional details on the crash, including whether the plane had just taken off from the airport when it crashed or was returning there, were available Tuesday morning, according to a spokesman with the National Transportation Safety Board, which is handling the investigation.
The investigator will also request maintenance records for the plane, along with medical records and the flight history of the pilot, Holloway said.
