A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Two men, both aged 34, have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Glasgow.
"The incident happened on Sunday, August 13, outside a Day-Today store in the Ladymuir Crescent area of Pollok. "The pair were arrested as part of a proactive operation in Elmbank Street, Glasgow, on the morning of Friday, 25 August, and enquiries remain ongoing."
