A woman’s body has been discovered in a Perth home engulfed by flames on Friday, triggering a murder investigation. The 30-year-old was found in a bedroom of a property on Currie St in Warnbro, in the city’s south.
Murder probe after woman’s body found in house fire. “At this point in time we are treating as a murder,” Acting Detective Superintendent David Gorton said on Friday. Emergency services were called to the home about 1am, with two occupants — a man in his 30s and a three-year-old girl — managing to escape the flames. The pair were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to Rockingham Hospital for further care.
