A woman has died in a caravan fire that has left a "close-knit" Central Coast caravan park community shaken.
Firefighters were called to Homeland Caravan Park in Wadalba just after 8pm on Monday to find a raging fire already well underway.The woman's body was found inside the van and the man, who was found outside, was taken to Gosford Hospital suffering minor burns to his hands, shock and smoke inhalation, police said.
He said all the residents of the "close-knit" community were "pretty rattled" by the tragic incident.
