Authorities are treating a fire at John Hartley Primary School in Smithfield Plains as suspicious, as police also investigate shots fired into a northern suburbs home.

SA Police said there had been no reports of injuries and fire cause investigators would be at the school on Monday morning. In a separate incident, police are also investigating a drive-by shooting at a northern suburbs home in the early hours of this morning. Senior Constable Jen Cullinan told ABC Radio Adelaide police were called to Bogart Drive at Paralowie after neighbours reported sounds of gunshots.
"When police arrived, they discovered six shots had been fired into the front of the premises, which had hit the guttering and the roller doors," she said."It is quite early in the investigation, but we don't believe the incident was random."Posted
