A video on social media appears to show the aftermath of the incident in which the former Man Utd captain is said to have been involved in.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed it has launched an investigation into an alleged assault on Manchester United legend Roy Keane at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
No arrests have yet been made but police enquiries are ongoing. Sky has confirmed both Richards and Keane have made statements to officers. In a statement to the Daily Mail, Sky told the Daily Mail: 'We understand the police are investigating an alleged assault by a member of the public immediately preceding the footage circulating on social media. In the footage seen, Micah Richards was acting to defuse a situation.”
