Nottinghamshire Police are investigating reports of an alleged assault at a city centre apartment block. Officers were called to the Litmus Building on Huntingdon Street on Friday, September 30, following reports of an assault.
An alleged incident was believed to have happened between a driver, who was delivering an Amazon parcel but working for a separate courier firm, and members of staff at the building. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, at around 12.05pm on 30 September 2022 following reports of an assault. A 59-year-old man reported being verbally assaulted and pushed by another man.“Our inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact 101, quoting incident number 393 of 30 September 2022.
"We are investigating the matter and will take appropriate action.” Living City, the management company for the Litmus Building, have been approached for a comment. The Litmus Building was completed in 2007, and is one of several modern apartment blocks built to the east side of the city, near the Marco Island complex. The Litmus Building is a multi-storey apartment block and has its own in-house car park and a gym and swimming pool.
