Police investigating stabbing death in Kearny Mesa parking lot [Breaking]
A 60-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the parking lot of a Kearny Mesa restaurant and karoke bar early Sunday after an altercation with another man who had attended a gathering inside the venue, San Diego police said.
Police were called to the parking lot outside the Hive on Convoy Street near Armour Street shortly after 12:20 a.m. and found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body, said homicide Lt. Steve Shebloski. Police provided first aid and summoned paramedics, who transported the victim to a hospital but he died around an hour later.
Police asked anyone with information regarding the incident to call the homicide unit at 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at 580-8477.
