, Casuarina and Palmerston areas – have been told to be on the lookout for dodgy $100 notes, spotted by a flock of ripped off shoppers.Although the notes bear an uncanny resemblance to true Australian banknotes, they are missing one critical feature – a dead giveaway."Please pay close attention to any note you receive," NT Police said in a statement.
"The current batch can be identified by the lack of clear window in the bottom corner and the paper texture when you touch them."
