Police Scotland has launched a campaign that aims to slow down Renfrewshire motorists after statistics revealed there were more than 150 casualties on the area’s roads.
In 2022, there were 5,621 people reported injured on roads across the country, according to Transport Scotland. “Speeding is one of the main causes of road traffic collisions but there are simple ways we can avoid them; the most obvious being to stay within the legal speed for the road.”
