The NSW Premier and Police Minister have called out the dozens of climate change protesters who caused peak hour chaos in Sydney on Monday with NSW Police confirming it made 11 arrests.

NSW Deputy Premier Paul Toole has warned climate change protesters the"full force of the law" would be thrown at them following the chaotic scenes witnessed across the Sydney CBD on Monday morning.

"And let's be very clear, these are not placard holders, they are nothing short of professional pests. Mr Toole pointed to the new laws introduced by the NSW government in April in response to back-to-back protest activity by the group. "We have got police on the edge of the Harbour Bridge, on the edge of the Anzac Bridge, they're stationed around the city," Mr Toole said.
