A police officer and member of staff were allegedly attacked by a man carrying a bladed weapon at Edinburgh Waverley train station on Monday.
The man was arrested for assault, using homophobic language and being in possession of a bladed article following the incident.A British Transport Police statement read: "A male has been arrested at Edinburgh Waverley today for assaulting a member of staff and a police officer.
