A police officer has been left hospitalised after he sustained an injury during an arrest in south-west Sydney.

Officers from the Camden Police Area Command were called to Leppington train station about 2am, following reports of a teen allegedly seen smashing the windows of two parked cars. Picture: Nine.

The dog unit was called in and a perimeter was established before the boy was located on the roof of a property.
