A police officer has been rushed to hospital after their marked vehicle crashed into another motor of the busy M8 in Glasgow.
Recovery of the vehicles involved remains ongoing after emergency services were called to assist at around 7.50am on Friday. Traffic Scotland tweeted: “M8 Kingston Bridge. The eastbound junction 9 on ramp is closed. The eastbound carriageway remains restricted due to a collison. Police and TRISS are in attendance. Take care on approach.”
