A Queensland police officer has been struck by a stolen car on Brisbane's southside this morning.
Queensland Police Service said the male officer was conducting speed checks on Orange Grove Road at Salisbury shortly before 6:30am when he attempted to intercept a car by walking onto the road.He is currently in a stable condition, but will need to undergo further medical assessment.Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a white Mercedes sedan in the Wishart area between 6:40am and 6:50am to come forward.
