Two young men disguised in face masks and dark clothing remain on the run after a Sydney Jewish community was attacked for a second time in three weeks.
Police are still on the hunt for two young men who spray-painted antisemitic slurs onto homes and set a stolen car on fire, with investigators finding an underworld tactic may have been used.
NSW Police said the vehicle was believed to have been stolen and driven there by perpetrators - aged 15 to 20 - who went on the crime spree before setting it on fire. "For people to demonstrate outside a place of worship is a provocative act which undermines whatever the cause may be that people are purporting to advance because it completely alienates people," Mr Albanese said."Because you're not demonstrating against a government. You're not demonstrating against an action of a government. You're demonstrating against people's faith.
The operation will see more officers deployed to Woollahra and other suburbs across the city amid the heightened tensions, alongside increased community engagement. NSW Premier Chris Minns conceded more could be done to stamp out antisemitism, indicating he will not rule out potential changes to the law.
