The video was first aired by Channel 10 and was provided by a Canberra man who did not work at Parliament House.ACT Policing confirmed the search warrants were conducted in relation to the alleged "unauthorised sharing of intimate images". The man at the centre of the raids, known only as "Tom the Whistleblower" on Twitter, said in a now-deleted tweet that one of his homes was raided while his 19-year-old daughter was alone, and police would not let him take her call.

"He revealed disgusting behaviour in our national parliament against a female MP and others. And now the police are coming for him, not the perpetrators," Mr Davis said.
