Scotland's national police force ranked second worst in one table and 11th worst in another - out of 44 forces.
Police Scotland has ranked as the second worst police force in the whole of the UK for emergency phone call response times, a new study has shown.
And the amount of time it takes Police Scotland's call handlers to answer calls also got worse over the time periods, falling by a whopping 20%. No forces are meeting the official national target of answering 90 per cent of their 999 calls within 10 seconds.
