Ian Fletcher, of no fixed abode, is well-known in the Tameside area, police said. The 47-year-old is wanted on recall back to prison.
He is also wanted on suspicion of a theft from a dwelling. Officers issued a picture of Fletcher as part of an appeal for help to find him.
