Football fans who invaded the pitch at an A-League derby game in Melbourne on Saturday could face jail time over assaults committed during the violence.
Melbourne City goalkeeper Tom Glover and referee Alex King were struck by a metal bucket filled with sand after fans stormed the pitch.
A Channel 10 camera operator was also bruised and left with burnt clothes after being hit by a flare thrown from the crowd. Victoria Police has released images of nine men involved in the riot after two made themselves known to police yesterday.
