Police seeking help to find assailant who beat man in service station convenience store [Breaking]
San Diego police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an assailant who beat a 52-year-old man inside a Lincoln Park-area gas station last month.
The victim was attacked after he entered a United Gas Station on South 47th Street near Franklin Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. on March 13, according to the police. He and another man tried to wake up a third man who appeared to be unconscious on the floor when the assailant stood up and grabbed the victim, police said.The assailant then punched the victim’s head several times and used several knee strikes to the victim’s upper body. While the victim was on the floor, he punched and kicked the victim’s head, police said. After the attack, the assailant walked out of the store with the witness.
Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect was asked to call the police at 527-3536 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 580-8477 for a possible $1,000 reward.
