A man allegedly tried to steal clothes from the backyard of a Western Sydney home after a fatal crash killed an innocent driver on his way to work.
NSW Police spotted 'suspicious' car in St Marys before driver 'accelerated' to Great Western Highway and crashed into another vehicle, killing man behind the wheel
They stopped near the car when it is alleged the driver accelerated towards the Great Western Highway, with police losing sight of the vehicle moments later. "The next vision police have seen is the accident had already taken place," Asst Comm Gavin Wood said on Tuesday morning in St Marys.Officers located the man nearby in the backyard of a home on Chapel Street a short time later, alleging he tried to steal clothes from the line.The innocent driver in the hatchback was driving to work.
