“It’s not only a tragedy for the person that takes their life, it's a tragedy for all the people around.” Members of New Order have met with MPs as they campaign for charities working to prevent suicide on anniversary of Ian Curtis' death.
In the decades since, his former band members Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris have campaigned for charities working to prevent suicide – which remains the biggest cause of death amongst men under the age of 50.
