Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer have gone head-to-head in the final PMQs before Easter recess - but it wasn't just the government benches directing heat towards Labour this week, as the SNP's Westminster leader Stephen Flynn labelled shadow ministers 'born-again Thatcherites'.
Next up in the Commons is Stephen Flynn, the Westminster leader of the SNP.He says: 'With his backbenchers looking for a unity candidate to replace him, which of the numerous born-again Thatcherites on the Labour frontbench does he believe best fits the bill?'To laughter, Rishi Sunak says it was 'surprising' to hear talk about the 1970s from the shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves.
Back on his feet, Mr Flynn warns of 'conspiracy of silence' between benches 'when it comes to £18bn of looming public sector cuts'.Mr Sunak describes a recent SNP financial statement as a 'savage tax and axe budget'.'While taxes are being cut by the Westminster government, it is the SNP government that are putting them up.
