An altered video appears to show country musician Tim McGraw hawking diet gummies. A little investigation shows this isn’t real.
suggests, effusively thanking McGraw and his wife, country musician Faith Hill, for help losing weight.
In a video in the post, McGraw appears to say"nearly 2.8 million people die from obesity each year in the United States." The camera then cuts away from McGraw, but the voice that’s purportedly his keeps talking:"After numerous tries, there’s only one thing that really worked for me. I gave Oz’s method a try and my God, it helped me drop over 45 pounds in just six weeks and then some."
He then offers a"limited time" sale on what’s described in the post as"Hollywood’s Belly-Mely-Kit," maybe misspelling"melt." What exactly this kit involves is unclear from the post, though the video briefly shows an image of gummy bears and text that says"take one per day until desired weight."
