A popular restaurant in East Kilbride is set for a major £1million makeover.
Di Maggio's on Stroud Road in the town has announced it will undergo refurbishment works - which will include the launch of an authentic churro bar and gelateria at the venue.On top of that, the restaurant's interior will also be remodelled - and it will be based on Italian heritage.Meanwhile, the venue will also launch an updated menu to coincide with the refurbishment.
The new venue will officially launch in the first week of May, however, the kitchen will reopen for deliveries and collection orders from Friday, March 29. "With our kid's play areas, we also see families travelling for a day out of fresh pizza or pasta, and then enjoy a cone, gelato, or churro afterwards.He added: “We can’t wait to lift the curtain on this next exciting chapter for Di Maggio’s East Kilbride.
