The all-day dining restaurant Caravan will count Aviva Studios and luxury Greek eatery Fenix as neighbours

An award-winning London restaurant group has announced its first site in the North of England will be located in one of Manchester's up-and-coming neighbourhoods. The brand Caravan will be opening their first Manchester site in the St John's district this summer.

"We’ve chosen a unique location which sits right next to the new Aviva Studios, behind the historic Granada Studios and right in the heart of a growing new district at St John’s. We hope to attract a real cross section of the city to our beautiful new restaurant & roastery. Caravan are also famed for their coffee programme with a roasting and online business focused heavily on 'sustainable, responsible sourcing' and strong relationships building with farmers in coffee growing regions all over the world. The coffee team will establish their second roastery in Manchester, aiming to provide beans and specialist training to coffee shops and restaurants across the north of England.
