The Plant Hunters' Fair will take place in the walled garden at Bramall Hall
Stockport ’s historic Bramall Hall will host a plant fair next week with some of the country’s most respected specialist nurseries - including RHS medallists - selling flowers, shrubs and more in the grounds of the Tudor building. The Plant Hunters’ Fair will take place on April 17 and will raise funds for Friends of Bramall Hall and Park.
The fair costs £2 to enter with the money raised going to Friends of Bramall Hall and Park. It will be held within the hall’s walled garden, providing a stunning backdrop to the stalls and an ‘intimate and friendly’ atmosphere. As well as nurseries selling flowering bulbs, perennials and more, there will also be stalls with gardening accessories for sale. The fair will run from 10am to 4pm and dogs on leads are welcome.
“There will be a brilliant line-up of specialist plant nurseries from near and far attending, laden with flowering bulbs, perennials and shrubs to provide instant colour and lots of later flowering plants to get planted now for colour into the summer and beyond. Wildflowers, herbs, clematis and alpines, will also feature at the fair.
