Major retailer to close multiple branches this year
A Halfords spokesperson said: "We regularly review our retail portfolio in line with lease terms and other stores in close proximity to the area.announced profitability has been knocked by “weakness” in the consumer tyre market for longer than expected.
The motoring accessories and cycling retailer blamed a shortage of technicians and weak demand for tyres for its tumbling shares.
