Port Adelaide superstar Zak Butters will play through the pain in Friday night’s cut-throat semi-final against Hawthorn. Butters was subbed out of at half-time of last week’s nightmare 84-point loss to Geelong, which renewed calls for coach Ken Hinkley to be sacked.
Butters to play through the pain. Club signs were again vandalised with frustrated fans plastering “sack Hinkley” stickers at Power headquarters. It was a similar story after the heavy loss to Brisbane in Round 15. Since that defeat, the Power won eight out of nine games to surge into second place and earn a home final. But last week’s disaster, which was Port’s fourth-straight finals loss, hit a nerve with angry fans.
