The country is currently experiencing its third heatwave of the year, resulting in searing temperatures and blazing infernos.
Firefighters in Portugal are battling to control several wildfires all of the country that have destroyed thousands of hectares of land.
It's the third heatwave that Portugal has experienced this summer, and the high temperatures have resulted in devastating fires breaking out and people being forced to flee their homes for safety. To help locals and holidaymakers stay safe, a live map has been created by fogos.pt that tracks where all the Portuguese wildfires are, and if the emergency services are tackling it or not.
