Ange Postecoglou's extraordinary impact at Tottenham has been marked by winning the first Premier League Manager of the Month award for the 2022/23 season.
He claimed the award ahead of the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jürgen KloppPostecoglou, who is the first Australian to manage a Premier League club, was saluted for overseeing an immediate attacking transformation at Tottenham.
Spurs are still unbeaten in the Premier League since he arrived, sitting second behind Manchester United on the standings. The 58-year-old becomes only the second Australian man ever to win one of the Premier League's monthly awards.Postecoglou guided Spurs to wins over Manchester United and Bournemouth, and a draw with Brentford over his first three matches in August.
He is also the first manager since Huddersfield Town's David Wagner to lift the prize in their first month in the division.
