Mr Waugh said the results proved that there were some “potential errors” in the selection of the team, but it was “important” for board members not to get involved. “I think it’s important … as board members and as CEO to not get too involved with selection, and he had good people around him helping him with selections,” Mr Waugh told a press conference on Tuesday.Mr Waugh also said top coaches from around the world “will be attracted” to the Wallabies coaching job given the Lions Tour in 2025 and the Rugby World Cup in Australia in 2027.
