BREAKING | The body of the unaccounted person in an overnight fire in Pottstown has been found, according to fire officials.
A CBS3 viewer sent in video of the fire, with smoke billowing out of the top.
“Firefighters are trying to get to the second floor,” Pottstown Chief Frank Rand told Eyewitness News. “The roof collapsed, and they’re in there searching. We deemed this building safe enough for our members to get in there right now.” “The dog was going off downstairs, and I just woke up and knew there was something wrong,” Brad Napper said. “Looked out the window and saw orange and knew exactly what it was and woke up everyone else in the house, told them to get out.”
