New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet says they will “ensure educational outcomes” for children to attend pre-school for “five days a week”.

“Already today we subsidise families and provide financial support in the thousands of dollars to help our children get access to pre-school a few days a week but it is an absolute game changer – if our children can have five days a week pre-school,” Mr Perrottet said during a media conference on Monday.

“We make that for every single child across New South Wales, not just to support families with the cost of living but in addition to that – ensuring we improve the educational outcomes for our children – the benefits that children have from getting into school early – will make a real difference.”
