A man who became trapped in an enormous hole dug in the backyard of Perth home on Tuesday has been rescued.
A man has been rescued by emergency services after he became trapped in a hole dug in the backyard of a home in Perth ’s north on Tuesday.
One of his legs is believed to have been trapped under dirt for some time. Firefighters were forced to brace the hole with planks to stop the ground from caving in. “By 6pm crews were working to suck sand from inside the hole to make the extrication easier before the man was wheeled out on a stretcher and into an ambulance,” the publication said.
